Banner Christian Recognizes Leaders of the Month and Athletes of the Month for the month of January.

Below, please take a look at Banner students who excelled in the classroom and beyond in January.

Leaders of the Month Awards
These honors recognize students who have shown outstanding leadership by setting a positive example, serving others and demonstrating responsibility. The Leaders of the Month inspire their classmates through their actions, encourage teamwork and consistently demonstrate integrity in both their work and character.

The Leaders of the Month for January are being recognized and honored for their work on a proposed new event that will bring community and benefits to Banner.

Kaylee Inman and Emery Moore are being recognized for their leadership, initiative, creativity, follow-through and teamwork. They collaborated together and with other student leaders, classmates, and parents to develop a proposal for starting a school talent show. Their idea was to introduce a fun way to bring our community together while also raising funds for the theater department.

These leaders and their team created a detailed and well-organized proposal and presented it to the administration for approval. Even more impressively, they have taken responsibility for seeing the project through from planning to execution. Their willingness to lead, plan carefully and follow through makes them wonderful examples of servant leadership in action.

Seventh-grader Kaylee Inman is being recognized for her leadership, initiative and creativity. She worked collaboratively with fellow students, parents and teachers to help develop a proposal for a school talent show that brings our community together while raising funds for the theater department. Kaylee played a key role in organizing the plan and has shown strong follow through by helping see the project through to completion. Her willingness to lead and serve others is a wonderful example of servant leadership in action.

Seventh-grader Emery Moore is being honored for her leadership, teamwork and follow through. She partnered with other student leaders, classmates and parents to help design a well-organized proposal for a school talent show that supports the theater department and strengthens school community. Emery has taken responsibility for moving the project forward from planning to execution, demonstrating maturity, responsibility, and a servant’s heart in her leadership.

Please join us in congratulating Kaylee and Emery for setting a strong example of servant leadership and faith in our school community.

Athletes of the Month Awards
Below, please find a look at Banner student-athletes who are shining academically and on the athletic fields.

Senior Izaiah Robinson is garnering accolades because of his outstanding leadership and his impact on the basketball court during his senior season. He has consistently stepped up, creating opportunities for his teammates and confidently making key shots when it matters most. One of his standout moments came during Banner's matchup against Millwood Academy where he went on an impressive run of sinking three-pointers. Izaiah has been an integral part of the Bearcats' basketball program this season.

Freshman Allie Burke is being lauded due to her enthusiasm, positive spirit and unwavering support of her teammates. Allie consistently demonstrates strong sportsmanship, encouragement and a readiness to step in and participate whenever needed. Her energy and commitment make her a great example both on and off the sidelines, and a valued member of the cheer team.

Please join us in congratulating Izaiah and Allie for their individual achievements as well as inspiring other Bearcats to reach new heights.
