October: Onward Christian Soldiers/Fighting Cancer Month

Psalm 73:26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

• October 16: Stomp Out Cancer Day

  • Come dressed all in the color(s) to honor those who have fought through cancer.

  • You may choose to raise awareness of more than one cancer through your attire, but this is not simply a jeans-and-t-shirt dress-down day — make your outfit meaningful.

    • Students will have the opportunity in 1st period to share why they chose the particular color they did and to share the name of any person they are honoring with it.

• “Dig Pink” volleyball game this evening to raise money/awareness of breast cancer.

This special morning is an opportunity for local church leaders to come together, connect with one another, experience worship led by our Banner Praise Team, enjoy breakfast, and strengthen relationships among like-minded leaders in our community.
