Leaders of the Month Awards
These honors recognize students who have shown outstanding leadership by setting a positive example, serving others and demonstrating responsibility. The Leaders of the Month inspire their classmates through their actions, encourage teamwork and consistently demonstrate integrity in both their work and character.
Sophomore Josiah Burtner was recognized for demonstrating servant leadership by utilizing his gifts on the Praise Team, helping prospective new classmates feel welcomed and supported and encouraging younger students as a facilitator of the Bible Buddies program. His example of faith and willingness to lead with kindness, humility and encouragement reflects the true spirit of a servant leader.
Junior Leah Chen was honored for welcoming new classmates (including one into her own host home) and taking a guiding role amongst her peers as they mentor Lower School students in the monthly Bible Buddies meetings. Her hard work, sacrifice, encouragement and example reflect what it means to lead by serving others.

Athletes of the Month Awards
Below, please find a look at Banner student-athletes who are shining academically and on the athletic fields.
Junior Cody Campbell was hailed for setting the pace as Banner's fastest cross country runner. All told, he has shown incredible speed, enviable endurance and uncommon dedication to the sport. We're proud of his hard work and success.
As just a seventh grader, Kaylee Inman has already stepped up to the varsity level as a part of Banner's cross country program. Her voracious commitment to hard work, tone-setting maturity and amazing determination sets a powerful example for her teammates and we are proud to recognize her accomplishments.
