Meet our Principals
A welcome from the lower school principal, Kathy Ivill ![]() Thank you for your interest in Banner Christian’s lower school! Our motto is “Christ first, education second to none” and our faculty work diligently to make the learning environment consistent with those values. We are excited about the meaningful activities that promote learning throughout the day for kindergarten through fifth graders. Walking down the hallway, one might observe first graders who are enthusiastically playing “Around the World” with phonic sounds or fifth graders who are engrossed in group STEM activities. You will also see teachers who pray with and disciple their students often, as well as teaching Bible as a subject. They incorporate biblical truths into their other curricula, in order to make learning Christ-centered, purposeful, and meaningful. Our students also participate in 7 weekly resources that enrich our curriculum: PE, drama, Spanish, music, computer, art and library. All of this begins at a young age, as we work together with our parents for one common purpose; to develop and educate the whole student to the glory of God. I’d like to extend an invitation for you to come and tour our facility, as well as get any questions answered, that you may have. |
A welcome from the middle school principal, Each school day begins with a time of praise and worship, and a first period Bible course. At Banner, we strive for academic excellence, and do so with a Christ-centered worldview. In middle school we offer a variety of course electives, leadership opportunities, and co-curricular activities. If you would like more information, including a campus tour, I would love the opportunity to partner with you in your child’s education. Thank you for taking the time to visit our pages and I invite you to explore the site and get to know us better. We believe that all children are fearfully and wonderfully made and that it is the responsibility of the school to cooperate with parents to disciple and assist them in their academic, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual growth. Our curriculum is rigorous, preparing our students for college and future careers and our Bible classes/biblical integration practices provide students with academic biblical knowledge as well as the tools they need to develop, strengthen, and grow a meaningful relationship with God. We also offer a number of programs and activities to build the hearts, minds, and bodies of our students, from mentoring programs and small groups to sports and physical education, we are committed to educating the whole child to the glory of God. If you have any questions or would like to apply for admission, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to the opportunity to partner with you in the education of your children and to glorifying God by assisting them in achieving their highest potential.
