Leaders of the Month Awards
Sixth grader Beckett Ling is being recognized for his servant leadership through creativity, initiative and teamwork. He has collaborated with the administration to develop new ideas and plans, offering innovative suggestions and showing a willingness to do the work needed to bring them to life. Beckett encourages his peers, demonstrates good sportsmanship and builds up his teammates. These qualities make him a good example of what it means to lead like Christ.
Freshman Ava Grannell is being honored for demonstrating servant leadership by utilizing her gifts on the Praise Team and in other venues (e.g., singing the national anthem at sporting events), helping new classmates feel welcome and supported and encouraging younger students as a facilitator of the Bible Buddies program. Her willingness to serve as an ambassador for Christ and for Banner across various settings and situations reflects the true spirit of a servant leader.

Sophomore Josiah Burtner is garnering accolades for being hard working, positive, encouraging and a great leader to his fellow teammates. Josiah embodies servant leadership characteristics and has enjoyed successful soccer and cross country seasons.
