Operation Christmas Child, run by Samaritan’s Purse and led by Franklin Graham, spreads the love of Jesus by delivering gift-filled shoeboxes to children who may not otherwise receive presents during this special time of year. Learn more about the program by clicking here.
Please join us by filling shoeboxes with love and joy for children in need around the world. We are encouraging our students to fill a shoebox with small gifts such as school supplies, toys, hygiene items, and notes of encouragement. Click here and scroll down to page three for instructions and gift suggestions.
In addition to hearing the Gospel before they receive their shoebox gift, children also receive The Greatest Gift, a storybook that shares the message of salvation; these items can truly make a difference in the lives of these children.
- Recently, Banner students received a brochure about the ministry with information about how to pack a shoebox.
- Please gift wrap the shoebox and lid separately so it can be easily opened. The main office has 50 shoeboxes that are available for students; please contact the office if you’d like any.
- Bring all shoeboxes into Praise and Worship on Thursday, Nov. 16 as this will be the focus that morning.
Thank you for your support and generosity!
