First Grade Teacher

Michelle Fatta's journey to becoming a beloved first-grade teacher at Banner Christian School is a testament to her unwavering faith, dedication, and passion for teaching. Born and raised in Northern California, her academic path initially led her to pursue a degree in Business Administration. However, a profound spiritual transformation during college led her to discover her love for working with children and her calling to become an educator.

Her teaching career officially began in 2000 when she moved to Virginia and started teaching in a second-grade classroom at a Christian school. Over the years, Michelle's unwavering faith continued to shine as she nurtured her students' minds and spirits. She actively engaged in her church community at Spotswood Baptist Church and even initiated a morning prayer group on her school campus.

In 2010, Michelle received a divine calling to explore new paths in her life. She embraced this calling with a passion for prayer counseling, crisis response, and overseas work with children. Her dedication to education persisted, and she taught at various schools and worked as a tutor.

Michelle has been a dedicated first-grade teacher at Banner Christian School for the past two years. She believes in God's plan for everyone at Banner Christian and takes pride in being part of a faith-filled community.
