Nadine Parker

Nadine Parker, Food Service Manger at Banner Christian, is a true Virginia native, having been born and raised in the Virginia Beach/Chesapeake area. In March of 2020, she and her husband made the move to Chesterfield due to her husband's job in Richmond. It was through friends at church and research on local schools that they discovered Banner Christian.

Nadine attended Tidewater Community College, and over the years, she has held various positions. She boasts an impressive 20-year tenure at the City of Chesapeake Elections office, marking the longest stint in her career.

Upon relocating to Chesterfield, Nadine felt a calling to contribute to the school system, particularly in the realm of cafeteria work. She finds immense satisfaction in nourishing students each day, providing them with the energy they need for the remainder of the school day. Seeing the students excited for lunch and interacting with them brings her great joy.

For Nadine, serving in the cafeteria is an expression of her faith – she believes that serving God means serving others. In her view, pursuing excellence and ensuring that everything she does brings glory to God is her personal mission.

Outside of her role at Banner Christian, Nadine enjoys quality time with family and friends. She loves grabbing coffee with friends, leisurely strolling the aisles of Target, and embarking on camping trips and outdoor adventures with her family.
