Paul Hartzell
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Paul Hartzell moved to Virginia in 1981 after college. He holds a degree in Landscape Development from SUNY Alfred and spent 40 years in the Golf and Sports Turfgrass Industry, specializing in construction, maintenance, sales, and soil consulting. Paul felt called to Banner Christian School through his church in Culpeper, where he has been active for over 20 years, teaching Sunday School, leading Vacation Bible School, and working with youth.
Paul’s love for working outdoors is rooted in his passion for experiencing God’s creation. He strives to bring positivity and enthusiasm to his work at Banner, aiming to inspire students with the joy of Christ in his life.
In his spare time, Paul enjoys gardening, home and auto repairs, sharing Christ through the Gideon ministry, and working in Line Service at Culpeper Airport, fueling aircraft and providing customer service.
