Lucy Libby

Lucy is a lifelong resident of Richmond and a proud alumna of Banner Christian School, where she attended from 1st grade until graduation. After high school, she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications from Liberty University, graduating in 2021. Returning to Banner, now as a teacher, Lucy feels blessed to be part of the same community that shaped her faith and education. Passionate about integrating the word of God into all aspects of learning, Lucy is committed to helping her students build a solid foundation of both faith and academic excellence. 

Lucy’s classroom is designed around the principle that every subject connects to the Bible, aligning perfectly with Banner’s mission of “Christ first, education second to none.” By fostering an environment where faith and learning intersect, Lucy seeks to inspire the next generation, just as her own teachers did for her. 

Outside of school, Lucy enjoys spending time with her husband and their Belgian Shepherd, Zoe. She loves being outdoors, crocheting, and playing board and video games. Lucy’s energy and enthusiasm, both in the classroom and in her personal life, are grounded in her deep faith and passion for education.
