Position Qualifications
- Testimony of faith in and a dynamic relationship with Christ that draws children closer to God through example and discipleship
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in history or related field
- Teaching experience in upper-level classes (preferred but not required)
- Teacher certification from ACSI or willingness to obtain
- Background check
- Completed employment application
- Effective classroom management that is conducive to a productive learning environment
- Preparation and execution of detailed lesson plans, including integrating a biblical worldview into all subjects taught
- Utilization of a variety of instructional methods in delivering course content and gauging student learning using multiple assessment methods
- Maintenance of records on the school management system (FACTS)
- Effective communication with students, parents, administration, faculty, and staff
- Adherence to and enforcement of school policies and practices; functioning as a team player
