Susan Tignor

Susan Tignor embarked on her journey as a guidance counselor with a deep-rooted passion for helping students. Armed with a Masters in Psychology from James Madison University, and an endorsement in Guidance Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University, she set out to make a difference. It is with great enthusiasm that Susan now serves as the interim guidance counselor at Banner Christian School.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Susan finds joy in life's simple pleasures. She delights in playing with her two dogs, indulges in boating adventures, and unwinds during family vacations in the serene Outer Banks.

Susan's commitment lies in assisting students in realizing their God-given talents to achieve their full academic potential. Witnessing students grow and attain their goals is a source of deep fulfillment for her. Susan treasures the friendships and memories she cultivated during her college years and is now dedicated to helping our students chart their own path, find the right college fit, and make lifelong memories.

As Interim Director of Guidance, Susan Tignor is wholeheartedly devoted to making a positive impact on the lives of the students at Banner Christian School, guiding them toward a brighter future.
