Julie Burkett

Julie Burkett is a passionate educator hailing from Williamsport, Maryland. Her educational journey took her to Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, where she fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming a teacher. Julie's dedication to helping students discover and learn has been a driving force throughout her life.

From the very inception of Banner Christian School, Julie has played a pivotal role. Her husband founded the school as an alternative for independent Christian education in the greater Richmond area. What Julie might not readily admit is that she was the visionary who received the divine inspiration to establish this educational institution. We are profoundly thankful for her obedience in bringing this vision to life.

When she's not immersed in crafting the school's curriculum, you can find Julie relishing moments with her family, engaging in sporting events, or getting lost in the pages of a good book.

With Julie Burkett at the helm of our curriculum, Banner Christian School continues to uphold the highest standards of educational excellence, combining academics with faith-based learning.
