Austin Swiech
Hailing from Jenison, Michigan, Austin brings a wealth of experience and passion to his role as Athletic Director at Banner Christian School. His journey to Virginia began with a decorated collegiate soccer career at the University of Michigan, where he was a proud member of the Men’s Soccer Team that claimed the 2017 Big Ten Championship title. After earning his undergraduate degree in Sport Management at Michigan, Austin furthered his education with a graduate degree in Sport Management: Coaching and Athletic Administration from Liberty University.
Austin joined Banner Christian after two impactful years as an assistant coach for Liberty University’s Men’s Soccer Team. With a strong foundation in both athletics and Christian values, he is passionate about guiding students to grow in all areas of life. He sees sports as a powerful tool to shape character and inspire young people to become the best versions of their future selves.
At Banner Christian, Austin embraces the unique opportunity to combine his love for athletics with a faith-based education, fostering an environment where both faith and sports can flourish. His goal is to help Banner Athletics grow while remaining rock-solid in its commitment to Christian principles.
Outside of his professional commitments, Austin is a true sports enthusiast. Whether he’s playing golf, running, enjoying a round of disc golf, or staying connected to the soccer community, you’ll often find him engaged in activities that fuel his love for competition and teamwork.
Austin’s vision for Banner Athletics is rooted in his dedication to helping students succeed on and off the field while strengthening the school’s foundation of faith-driven excellence.
